About Coach Ternosky
Ben was born and raised in Upstate New York (Syracuse, NY). He played at perennial powerhouse LaFayette High School that accrued a record of 68-6 in his varsity career. He went on to be a 4 year starter for D3 Keuka College, which won their conference 3/4 years. Since then, Ben has been coaching all levels of lacrosse in NY. Coaching Experience (12 years): Marcus Whitman JV Coach — 2013 Keuka College Asst — 2014-2016 LaFayette Modified Coach — 2017-2020 University of Kentucky Lacrosse Coach — 2021-Current Henry Clay High School Lacrosse Assistant Coach — 2021-2022 Henry Clay High School Lacrosse Head Coach — 2022-Current Ben's high school alma mater has about a 35% student population of Native Americans. Native Americans created the sport of lacrosse and are recognized as a sovereign nation(s) in New York. Coach Isaiah Atkins

Coach Atkins is a 2018 Henry Clay graduate who played both lacrosse and football. As a lacrosse player, he was a long stick midfielder, performed face offs, played defense and won 3x State Championships.
After graduating he attended Transylvania University and played lacrosse for two seasons through 2018-2020. In 2023 he graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelors in Sports Management. Along with continuing to coach football as a head coach and assistant since 2020, in 2021 he started the lacrosse program back up at Morton Middle school, leading the team to 3 straight championships and Division Champions in 2022. Coach Atkins is looking forward to continuing to grow the sport of lacrosse and inspire young athletes to learn and perform their best on and off the field. |
